How can we care for you?

Prayer
Your prayer concerns are important to us. If you would like our church to be in prayer for you, please take the time to fill out the prayer form below. A church-wide prayer list is publicized weekly. For more private concerns, a pastoral prayer list is directed to our staff, elders, deacons, and weekly prayer group. If you would like your request kept confidential, please indicate that by checking the appropriate box.

Meal Ministry
The Good Samaritan Ministry (Good Sams) has provided thousands of meals over the years to those in our church community who find themselves in need of meal assistance. Meals are prepared by our Chapelgate teams, stored in our church freezer and distributed as needed. Team members are asked to provide 2-4 meals per year.

Financial Assistance
Chapelgate members and friends can apply for financial assistance through our Benevolence Ministry. The Benevolence Ministry is a subcommittee of the Diaconate, and coordinates with our Pastoral Care Ministry.
The purpose of the Benevolence Ministry is to assist those within our community experiencing unexpected short-term financial needs that cannot otherwise be met. Examples of these needs may include mortgage payments, rent, utilities, food, etc. This assistance is primarily provided through the generous giving of our community to the Benevolence Ministry.
Our team carefully considers each request for assistance through an application and interview process.

Funerals/Memorials
Our Hospitality Teams are an all-volunteer ministry that serve bereaved families. They organize, prepare, and serve a simple, low cost reception following funerals or memorial services. Whether the reception is for 20 or 200 people, they strive to meet the needs of the grieving family in this small way, helping provide healing and comfort for both the body and spirit.
