In a deeply divided culture where nearly a third of the population no longer claims any religious affiliation, this presentation asks what might be revealed about the church and culture if the imagined religious threshold that separates insiders from outsiders, religious from non-religious, Nones from Somes is re-imagined as a threshold on which we stand together in dialogue. Does it then become the threshold of possibility? How does the gospel of Jesus invite us to approach this threshold together?
