Good Friday

Romans 5:3-5 ...we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us.

Thank you Jesus that the pain and sufferings of our lives have a purpose and are not meaningless. Forgive us for allowing ourselves to become overwhelmed and lost in our pain. Forgive us for forgetting who you are and how you can use our story of suffering for your purpose. Strengthen our foundation of faith and remind us of the hope we have in you. Remind us of God's promises. Promises of a future and promises to stand in the fire with us and promises to guide us through our storms safely. Thank you Jesus for being our shelter, our hope, and Lord over it all.
