Deuteronomy 31:8 The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

Gracious Father, thank you for being merciful and forgiving. What an encouragement to know we are never alone and your love is everlasting, which you demonstrated by dying on the cross for our sins. You go before us and will always carry us through difficult circumstances. Thank you for your grace and compassion. Amen.
