Isaiah 60:22 The least one shall become a clan, and the smallest one a mighty nation; I am the Lord; in its time I will hasten it.

During several circumstances that left me feeling uncertain of what the plan was for my life and future, I found this verse to be a comfort - reminding me that God can and will, in His timing, make it happen, be it His will.

Lord, you are the God who promises to make the least of us into mighty nations. Despite this truth, I struggle to relinquish control over my life to you - believing that my plan is better than yours; that my timing is better than yours. I thank you, Lord, that you continue to walk beside me, guiding me back to your path when I go astray and helping me focus on the now rather than the future. Give me courage and peace to trust your will and forgive me for my doubts when I cannot see the light through the clouds. In your holy name, Amen.
