Romans 8:28 For God causes all things to work together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.

This has always been my go-to verse regardless of what I was facing, including the death of my husband, my daughter, and most recently my only son.

Father, thank you that we know you are Sovereign and in control of every detail of our lives. Thank you for this blessed assurance, that no matter what we are going through in the present or will be going through in the future, you have promised to never leave or forsake us. In the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
