Romans 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

When you lose someone...WHY?! There is no answer. It is turmoil and no place to grab on to. It is to blame, and inadequacy. It is questioning everything around you and God. At that time God became my ROCK, my Hiding Place. Feeling and understanding Him as my perfect, loving Father and He carried me through.

Father, thank you for loving me and hugging me when things fall apart around me. And, yes, when things seem to be going well as well, don’t let me be distracted by the good gifts you shower on me!
